2. Emergency Medical Disclaimer
MEDVAULT is an administrative record repository, queue coordinator, and clinical workflow application. MEDVAULT IS NOT AN EMERGENCY DISPATCH SERVICE OR LIFE SUPPORT HOTLINE. If you or a patient in your vicinity are experiencing a medical emergency, acute chest pain, trauma, or severe breathing difficulties, immediately call your local emergency telephone number (e.g. 102/108/911/112) or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
3. Patient Locker & Account Responsibilities
As a registered patient user:
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your 4-digit security PIN and mobile login credentials.
- You warrant that all uploaded personal health documents (lab reports, prescriptions, discharge cards) pertain to you or family members for whom you have legal guardianship.
- You retain ownership of all documents stored within your MEDVAULT locker.
- You have the right to grant or revoke doctor access to your historical health records at any time via the consent management screen.
4. Clinical & Doctor Practitioner Guidelines
Medical doctors and healthcare providers utilizing MEDVAULT agree that:
- They hold an active, valid medical license issued by their respective state medical council or regulatory board.
- Prescriptions, notes, and medical advice issued via MEDVAULT reflect their independent professional judgment.
- Doctor accounts are subject to administrative credential verification before write/access privileges are activated.
- Medical data accessed during consultations must be handled in strict accordance with healthcare confidentiality ethics and HIPAA/NABH clinical guidelines.
5. Front Desk, Queue & Hospital Operations
MEDVAULT's hospital management suite facilitates OPD queue registration, cabin assignment, IPD bed allocation, and pharmacy dispensing:
- Queue tokens and estimated wait times are dynamic calculations based on real-time doctor consultation pacing and are subject to immediate clinical adjustments.
- Emergency/triage cases take statutory clinical priority and may supersede standard numerical queue order without prior notice.
6. AI Processing & Optical Extraction
MEDVAULT utilizes Google Gemini and optical models to assist in digitizing scanned prescriptions and lab summaries:
- Extracted medical text, dosage values, and lab indicators are AI-generated assistive summaries.
- Practitioners and patients must inspect the original uploaded source document to confirm exact dosages, units, and clinical directives.
- MEDVAULT and its developers are not liable for transcription errors arising from illegible handwriting or low-resolution document scans.
7. Invoicing, Receipts & Billing
Invoices generated through the Cashier / Billing module represent valid institutional charges for medical consultations, pharmacy items, laboratory diagnostics, and bed occupancy. All tax calculations and payment reconciliations reflect the billing organization's local tax jurisdiction.
8. Suspension & Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that attempt security exploitation, credential harvesting, deliberate falsification of medical registrations, or unauthorized access to other patient records.
